SCORESHEET
NAHA debuted in Conneticut with huge success. 18 competitors showed up at the Pipe in the Valley Highlander and put on an awesome contest. Some of the highlights are below, with everyone of the athletes leaving it on the line.
Lightweight: Mike Berby, who wow'd the crowd by taking the 300# shield 100'..then turning around taking it back 100' and replacing it on the box for the next guy...
Middleweights: Josh Plumb, who did a great job in a tough class and won a tie breaker. His consistency through the day and guts in the last event took it.
Heavyweights: Dave Barron won it. He and Sam put on a terrific show through the 4 events.
Women: Lacy won it and both her and Nahomi put in great perfomances in all the events especially that shield carry.
Masters: Lou Santella showed that being over 40 can be REALLY strong. Wow he is just massive and powerful.
Thanks again to all the people that helped make this a successful contest. We look forward to seeing you again next year.
